Since then she has worked in the Oral Surgery Department in Treliske Hospital in Cornwall, NHS practice in Devon, and currently works as the Phobic Lead at Plymouth Community Dental Service. Clare was a Paramedic before a career change into Dentistry, she worked for the NHS Ambulance Service in Mid and East Cornwall from 1997, and continued to work for the Ambulance Service during her Dental training.
In her spare time, Clare enjoys cycling, paddleboarding and snowboarding, she has completed a London to Paris cycle in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care, and has participated in a number of 100km night rides around London for Women's cancer charities. She has also recently started running, and instantly wondered whether she was sensible to get Richard to join her with his Mr Motivator type enthusiasm.
